As a Product Designer at Fresh ‘n Rebel, you play a central role in designing our products, from headphones to power banks. We are looking for a Product Designer who is not only passionate about current design trends but is also eager to think toward the future. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to exploring innovative materials and embracing sustainable practices to contribute to the creation of future-proof products. This includes a proactive approach to material studies and staying informed about sustainable materials. Do you dare to push the boundaries of traditional design? As a forward-thinking team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products.
So, what are you going to do?
- Conceptualize and develop innovative, aesthetically pleasing designs for consumer electronics and mobile accessories.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and constraints.
- Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Keep an eye on design trends, tech updates, and market preferences to guide your design choices.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure design feasibility and product quality.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal teams, user testing, and market research.
And what have you got?
- You’ve a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
- You’ve proven experience as an Industrial/Product Designer, preferably in the consumer electronics or mobile accessories industry.
- You’re skilled in 3D CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar), both in solid- and surface modelling.
- You know your way around Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with 3D rendering software (KeyShot or equivalent) is an advantage.
- You know how to bring your ideas to life with detailed sketches and you’ve strong conceptualization skills.
- You understand manufacturing processes and materials.
- You’re able to balance creativity with practicality, considering both form and function in design.
