Top 3 coffee spots around our office in Rotterdam you shouldn’t miss
Who doesn’t like to listen to music, while smelling freshly ground coffee during an office break or on a weekend afternoon with friends? ☕ At least our Fresh ‘n Rebel team shares a big love for coffee. Therefore, we want to give you some insider tips on our favourite cafés around Blaak (where our office is located).
NO. 1 - Cafecito (Meent)
Cafecito is a stylish Espresso bar which opened in 2020 in Amsterdam but since 2022 you can also find one store at Meent in Rotterdam. Besides being an Espresso bar, Cafecito has their own coffee roastery in Amsterdam. If you are a coffee connoisseur, you can try the refined variation of flavours and get advice on which beans to buy for your coffee machine at home 👌 For normal coffee lovers, Cafecito convinces with a minimalistic design, good atmosphere, and quality in the store. As the space for sitting is rather limited, we suggest going to Cafecito for a quick break during a workday or a stop in between a shopping trip on the weekend.

NO. 2 - Coffee Company Hoogstraat
The Coffee Company is widely known among Dutchies but also among international students in the city. With four locations in the centre of Rotterdam, you for sure already passed Coffee Company while strolling through the city. With plenty of space to sit in- and outside it is the perfect location to meet your friends. Moreover, WIFI is provided publicly, and you are allowed to sit there for an unlimited period of time. So, whether you want to read a book, study, or move your home office to the café, this is your spot to go to! 💻️🎧️
Our Fresh ‘n Rebel team especially likes the location at Hoogstraat, as it can be reached within 3 minutes by foot from the office and the terrasse is sunny around lunchtime. Check it out!

NO. 3 - NINE BAR espresso
NINE BAR is a cosy Espresso bar at Nieuwemarkt, within a walking distance of 5 minutes from Blaak. Their aim is to let you forget about your busy day, relax and be present in the moment. Besides very tasty coffee, they offer a range of sweet and savoury snacks and breakfast options such as smoothies, granola muesli, sandwiches, and cakes. Thus, we are sure that at NINE BAR everyone will find something to their taste!
Fun fact: they have two entrances, one at Bootersloot and one at Nieuwemarkt, so if you go there in summer to sit outside you can choose the sunny or shady side, according to your preferences! 🌞
